Boasting a decidedly bold design, the various models of this collection nevertheless remain true to the elegance that characterises the winged hourglass brand.
Shapes and materials derive their inspiration from symbolic elements of equestrian sports with which Longines have been intertwined for over a century. Arches on racetracks evoking horseshoes, stirrups and fine leather of saddles are the b images found in the bold lines of these watches dedicated to female equestrian sports lovers.

The models evoking the arch are available in four sizes - 23 mm, 26 mm and 30 mm and 34 mm - while watches drawing their inspiration from the stirrup come in three sizes, 23.50 mm, 26.50 mm and 30 mm.
Their steel cases house a quartz movement and each of these watches also comes in a diamond-set version. The polished black lacquer and mother-of-pearl dials are adorned with diamond indexes, while the silver-coloured flinque dial features Roman numerals and the silver-coloured sunburst dial Arabic numerals.
The stirrup-shaped model with a mother-of-pearl dial is also available in an even more dazzling version, decorated with a double row of diamonds. All the watches in this collection are fitted with overstitched leather straps matching the rider outfit.

The Longines Spring Classic of Flanders, which the Swiss watch brand is partnering and timekeeping, started 30 April in Lummen. During this four-day competition, Longines supported two major shows: The Furusiyya FEI Nations Cup™ on Friday 1 May and the Longines Grand Prix on Sunday 3 May. The team Italy won the first one, which is the first leg of the Furusiyya FEI Nations Cup™ Jumping Western European League 2015. The second one was won by Jerome Guery from Belgium.

As part of its long-term partnership with the FEI, including being the FEI's Official Timekeeper and Watch, Longines is the Official Timekeeper of the Furusiyya FEI Nations Cup™ Jumping series. The Official Watch of the 2015 Longines Spring Classic of Flanders edition was a stainless steel Conquest Classic Moonphase watch. This model houses a self-winding mechanical chronograph movement. Its refined silvered dial displays the moon phases, echoing the elegance and excellence of equestrian sport stars.

The long-term agreement was signed this week by Mr Juan Carlos Capelli, Vice-President and Head of International Marketing for Longines and Mr Brian Kavanagh, Chief Executive of Horse Racing Ireland (HRI).

The Longines Irish Champions Weekend hosts ten Group races, including five Group 1s, and features the QIPCO Irish Champion Stakes at Leopardstown and the Palmerstown House Estate Irish St Leger at the Curragh in back-to- back meetings on the 12th and 13th of September respectively.

As Official Timekeeper Longines will install clocks and chronometers at both racecourses during the season.
 

Longines was proud to present the Conquest Classic Moonphase, dedicated to its passion for equestrian sports, during the 2015 Longines Hong Kong Masters. This edition of the event was held from February 13th to 15th at AsiaWorld-Expo. The Swiss watch brand has been the Title Partner and Official Timekeeper of this prestigious event since its first edition in 2013.

On Friday, Julien Epaillard on Pigmalion du Rozel won the Longines Speed Challenge, while Scott Brash on Hello Annie secured the second place and Gerco Schröder on Glock's Prince de Vaux was third. Sunday was marked by the win of John Whitaker on Argento, followed by Henrik von Eckermann on Gotha FRH and Simon Delestre on Ryan des Hayettes, in front of Longines Ambassador of Elegance Aaron Kwok at the Longines Grand Prix. To further its long-term commitment with Meydan, Longines was once again the Presenting Partner, Official Timekeeper and Official Watch of His Highness Sheikh Mohammed Bin Rashid Al Maktoum Endurance Cup, which took place in Dubai on 10 January 2015. The was awarded to the two most precise classical archers over the season, Brady Ellison (USA) and Aida Roman (MEX), who also both clinched the World Cup title. Each was presented with a trophy, a Longines watch and a cheque for CHF 5,000.

Longines was proud to return to Hong Kong for the second year as Title Partner and Official Timekeeper of the Longines Hong Kong International Races. 2013 Longines World's Best Racehorse

As the Official Partner of the International Federation of Horseracing Authorities, Longines had the pleasure to present the Longines World's Best Racehorse Ceremony during the Longines Hong Kong International Races Gala Dinner.

This title honours the three world's best racehorses of the year according to the Longines World's Best Racehorse Rankings. The ratings are based on the performance of horses in elite races. This year, two horses are placed equal first with 130 points: the Australian filly Black Caviar, undefeated in 25 races, and Trêve, the 3 years old French filly, who won the Prix de Diane Longines and the Qatar Prix de l'Arc de Triomphe in 2013. The Swiss watch brand and Capannelle have revealed their partnership on October 20th during an event at the Palazzo Wedekind in the center of Rome. In the warmth of the roman autumn, the racecourse of Capannelle welcomed the Grand Prix Longines Lydia Tesio this Sunday. The Italian rider Fabio Branca on the Italian horse Quiza Quiza Quiza has won this Group I race of 2'000 meters opened to 3 years old fillies. This race is dedicated to the memory of Donna Lydia, the first lady of the Italian horse racing and wife of the great thoroughbred breeder Federico Tesio.
