Hublot - Badminton Tournament in China
The championship match was organized by Hublot and it featured badminton superstars Li Yongbo, the head coach of China's National Badminton Team, and Fu Haifeng, Olympic champion. Guests were offered an once-in-a-lifetime chance to face-off against Fu Haifengin a battle royale that not only showcased the competitive spirit and passion of the Chinese badminton team, but also exemplified Hublot's "Art of Fusion" concept. A slick black badminton court was unveiled in front of the Hublot Dalian boutique, accentuated by a Hublot wall chronograph set up to record every game, match and point exchanged. The event reached a feverish high with the arrival of Li Yongbo, the head coach of China National Badminton Team, and Fu Haifeng, the National champion of Olympic on the court. This dynamic competition attracted an eclectic mix of VIP guests, media and badminton enthusiasts, ten of which who were handpicked by Hublot to compete head-to-head with National champ, Fu Haifeng. Live, courtside commentary provided by coach Li added a heightened competitive buzz.

She became involved with the Foundation, which has been active for 50 years, to promote and help support its initiatives which aim to protect the communities, wildlife, species and landscapes of Africa. Hublot - A new watch for the centenary of Tuiga
This year, on the Rock of Monaco, Hublot is taking part in the celebration of the 100th anniversary of the Admiral Tuiga, alongside the Yacht Club de Monaco, its long standing partner and friend. This also provides an opportunity for the watchmaker to present a new limited series watch dedicated to the legendary sailing ship, in the presence of HRH Prince Albert II of Monaco.
It is in the 9th Monaco Classic Week that the festivities in honour of Tuiga are organised. Hublot, official timekeeper of the Yacht Club de Monaco, is celebrating not only the sea and the superb traditional sailing ships, but has insisted on creating a new model in the colours of the prestigious Yacht Club: a watch bearing the name Tuiga, on which the dates 1909 and 2009 are engraved. Indeed, this sailing ship, a "15 Metre class" was built by W. Fife in 1909 and restored in 1993. It is the emblem of the Yacht Club de Monaco, still proud and magnificent today on its 100th anniversary.
In the spirit of respect for tradition while being at the cutting edge of technology, Hublot has created a pink gold, ceramic and carbon watch, with a rubber strap. The Classic Fusion model, with its sporty chic design, and personalised by the flags of the Yacht Club at 9 o'clock and the name Tuiga at 6 o'clock, is eagerly anticipated by yachting and fine watch lovers.
Hublot is also taking part in all the events of the Classic Week, and rewarding those achieving distinction in various categories, such as the Personality of the Sea (for outstanding action in the field of marine and environmental protection), the Belle Classe Owner(for best yacht restoration respecting maritime heritage), and the various winners of the Classic Week competitions.
