Hublot - A Big Bang in the Spanish national colours
To honour the incredible journey of the World Cup winning Spanish team, Hublot, Official Timekeeper of the FIFA 2010 World Cup, is dedicating the ultimate and exclusive official competition watch, the "FIFA World Cup Winner's watch", the official timepiece of the World Cup Champions, to them.
A Big Bang in the Spanish national colours and the gold of the famous Trophy, of course
Sunday 11th July 2010 will remain engraved on the memory: in their first ever FIFA World Cup final, Spain succeeded Italy by achieving a historic victory which crowned them the kings of football, a title the country is adding to their European Championship win in EURO 2008.
A team of exceptional players made this triumphant journey possible, and Hublot was with them right from the very beginning of their adventure, both as Official Timekeeper of the FIFA 2010 World Cup, and Official Timekeeper of EURO 2008TM, and as the team's partner during the competition, such was the degree to which their talent and their desire to win had already convinced Hublot's CEO, Jean- Claude Biver.
And maybe the story will not end there... With the next FIFA World Cup taking place in 2014 in Brazil, for which Hublot will once again be the Official Timekeeper, and in keeping with footballers' superstitious beliefs, we would like to think that Hublot could bring the Spanish team good luck. Who knows...? And today, the Swiss watchmaking brand is dedicating a special creation to them... as a symbol of their victory, the official souvenir, preserving this fantastic historic event forever.
