Originally introduced as a limited edition piece for charity in Singapore, the latest Meridiist device embodies the brightest values of the TAG Heuer tradition: craftsmanship, precision and an authoritative aesthetic that celebrates the ambitious spirit and charisma of those who personify the brand.
The grandest version of the two models boasts 1232 diamonds totaling 7.4 carats, finely set in rows along the angled sides of the phone body, as well as framing the display screen. A discreet set of diamonds in the shape of a small shield - the form of the TAG Heuer logo - rests on the camera shutter on the back of the instrument.
For those who prefer a bit more subtlety but no less glamour, the lighter version houses 208 diamonds totaling 1.3 carats, that file in delicate rows above and below the display screen. The diamond-encrusted shield on the back of the device offers a discreet flash of brilliance when the piece is held to the ear in conversation.
The feminine models reveal a distinctive opulence in their fine attention to detail: A green, East African Tsavorite garnet and a precious red ruby adorn the keypad's opposing call buttons. A choice of cover alligator - in white for the female version and black for the male version - cradles the back of the phone to accentuate the texture and brilliance of the diamonds.

Diamonds first appeared on the Meridiist communication instrument in a one-off limited edition piece that sold for 35,000 Euros, roughly five times its retail value and in the name of charity. All the proceeds from the September 29, 2008 sale went directly to Mainly I Love Kids (MILK), a charity helping disadvantaged children.
Developed in conjunction with the Formula 1 Grand Prix race in Singapore, the unique context of the event was stylized into the design of the Meridiist. The black crocodile that sheathes the rear is outlined in stunning British racing green stitching. A center row of 78 diamonds totaling 0.7 carats are set below the display screen and mark the first diamond version Meridiist seen and sold in the world.
