The young athlete is the winner of the « Longines Rising Ski Stars » for the 2012/2013 and 2013/2014 seasons, a prize awarded to the best female skier under the age of 21 who competes for the FIS Alpine Skiing World Cup. for professional Alpine skiers as well as fans of this discipline. • Longines - The Heritage Diver, two versions

The name Longines has long been associated with breathtaking feats achieved by pioneers who have always dared to go beyond their limits, notably in underwater exploration. In the 1950s the brand supplied measuring instruments for the bathyscaphe Trieste, which set a diving record in 1953. In addition to technical equipment, Longines also produced robust and reliable watches intended for use by keen amateur divers. Dating from the 1970s, two such models have been taken as inspiration for the new The Longines Heritage Diver watch.

Available in two versions, one with three hands and the other a chronograph, these new models boast a black, satin-finish dial that elegantly combines red highlights with details coated with Super-LumiNova®. Moreover, both versions feature a bidirectional rotating inner flange. Like the original creations, the two new models have a diameter of 43 mm. The case back, crown and bezel are screwed in, thus ensuring water-resistance to 30 bar (300 metres). The cushion-shaped steel case has a brushed sunburst decoration on the upper surface and is polished around the sides. The case back is engraved with the figure of a diver, recalling the first diving watches produced by Longines.

The model with 3 hands differs from the other with its daring mix of colours set off by the black dial, namely one red hand and red minute zones, touches of Super-LumiNova® coating and grey rhodium plating. The graduated scale from 0 up to 60 enables the diver to calculate how long he or she has been underwater by synchronising the 12 o'clock hour symbol with the minute hand. The inner flange is activated using the crown at 2 o'clock. The chronograph version boasts the same colour scheme, but in contrast the graduated scale on the flange goes from 60 down to 0. This enables the diver to calculate the remaining time, for example to allow for decompression when returning to the surface, by synchronising a given point with the minute hand. The new The Longines Heritage Diver watches are fitted on a black synthetic or rubber strap.

  • Longines - The Conquest Classic at the Longines Hong Kong Masters 2014

Like all the models in the Conquest Classic line, the official watch for the 2014 Longines Hong Kong Masters is fitted with a self-winding calibre. Its silvered dial is set with 3 arabic numerals and 9 applied indices with Super-LumiNova® and displays the hours, the minutes and the seconds as well as the date at 3 o'clock. Just as the entire collection Conquest Classic, this timepiece is water-resistant to 5 bar and its screw-down case back is fitted with a sapphire glass.

Longines presented this model, dedicated to its passion for equestrian sports, during the Longines Hong Kong Masters. The 2014 edition of the event was held from February 21st to 23rd 2014 at AsiaWorld-Expo (Hong Kong). The two highlights of the event were the Longines Speed Challenge, won by Kevin Staut on Quismy des Vaux H D C, and the Longines Grand Prix, attended by Longines Ambassador of Elegance Aaron Kwok and won by Henrik von Eckermann riding Gotha FRH on Sunday 23 February 2014.

  • Longines - La Grande Classique 100 Diamonds

La Grande Classique de Longines 100 Diamonds maintains all the characteristics of the original creations of this emblematic collection but now combines the classical elegance of those ultra-slim models with the sparkle of 100 diamonds.

A large part of the attraction of La Grande Classique de Longines is the ultra-slim case - only 4.60 mm for the new models. This profile has been achieved through the particular design of the case, which incidentally Longines has patented, whereby the back incorporates the lugs for the bracelet.

The glittering timepieces set with 100 Top Wesselton VVS diamonds around the bezel and 12 diamond indices on the dial are made of steel and equipped with a quartz movement.

La Grande Classique de Longines 100 Diamonds has a diameter of 29 mm. The models are fitted either on black alligator straps with buckle or on steel bracelets with folding safety clasp.

The circular steel case with a diameter of 38.50 mm houses a self-winding, mechanical movement, the calibre L615. The lacquered dial is available in white or black and features a railway-track minute ring and 11 Arab numerals. The hands are of blued steel in the white-dial version and rhodium-plated in the black version. And finally, the small seconds and date aperture at 6 o'clock complete the image of Longines Heritage 1940, which is mounted on a black alligator strap.

    Longines Heritage 1942

Longines Heritage 1942 has been directly inspired by a model dating from 1942 which was fitted with calibre 13ZN. This new timepiece has a circular steel case with a diameter of 40 mm which houses calibre L688, a column-wheel chronograph movement designed exclusively for Longines. The round push-pieces blend perfectly into the distinctive shape of the case and remind the Longines' chronographs of that period, which are exceptional and much sought after models. The lacquered dial, available in white or black, features 9 Arab numerals to contrast with the dial and a railway-track minute ring as well as a tachometric scale around the rim of the dial. Finally blued steel hands, for the white-dial version, or rhodium-plated hands, for the black-dial version, harmonise beautifully with the elegance of the dial. Longines Heritage 1942 is fitted on a black alligator strap.

  • Longines - DolceVita

Since it was launched in 1997, the Longines DolceVita collection has been an enormous success, thanks to its contemporary elegance. These models are a horological interpretation of the easy-going Italian way of life - la dolce vita. The perfectly harmonious proportions of the rectangular timepieces in this collection are its unique characteristic. Today Longines has turned a new page in the life story of the Longines DolceVita with brand new versions that combine steel and rose or yellow gold. The famous Swiss watchmaker has now created a new addition to the collection with a dial set entirely with diamonds, as the "jewel in the crown". This exquisite watch reflects the light in a host of subtle colours through the fiery brilliance of the diamonds and the elegant combination of the different metals - a true jewel in its own right.

Longines DolceVita really epitomizes the brand's core value of elegance. Unveiled for the first time in 1997, this collection of watches has made its mark all around the world and now adorns the wrist of many beautiful women. The inspiration for the design was found in the easy-going Italian way of life - la dolce vita. The rectangular shape of the case, with its sleek silhouette, offers the opportunity for many variations. Longines has now decided to launch a new range of models in the Longines DolceVita collection with designs that are refined and attractively fresh. Two colours of gold have been chosen to enhance the brilliance of the steel. Various different versions are available in steel with yellow gold or steel with rose gold. A new dimension has been added to the elegance of Longines' timepieces.

As a tribute to la dolce vita and its horological interpretation, a further exquisite model set with diamonds has now been added to the Longines DolceVita collection. The dial of this new model is set with 212 Wesselton VS diamonds (0.508 carats) while the case is also set with 32 Top Wesselton VVS diamonds (0.269 carats). The steel and rose gold bracelet sits perfectly with the distinctive shape of the case.

The other steel and gold models in the Longines DolceVita collection are available in four sizes. The choice also includes a white dial with Arabic numerals and indices, a "flinque" silvered dial with blue Roman numerals or a white mother-of-pearl dial set with diamonds. The steel and rose gold versions are also available with a white mother-of-pearl dial with arabesque numerals. Like the rectangular case in steel and gold, the bracelet also combines the brilliance of steel with the soft warmth of gold. Various models in this line are set with diamonds. All the timepieces are fitted with a quartz movement.
The three Longines Ambassadors of Elegance, Oscar winning Actress Kate Winslet, Bollywood star Aishwarya Rai Bachchan, and the beautiful Asian actress and model Chi Ling Lin play the leading roles in an advertising spot for the Longines DolceVita collection which is a contemporary interpretation of the la dolce vita. The film cleverly combines the unique atmosphere of the streets of Rome with the natural elegance of its three stars.
