I have a tiny wrist but I've always preferred a bracelet-type watch and this one fits my needs perfectly. I don't find it to be too heavy, as others have mentioned. It's been mentioned that the sliding piece that holds the strap down. That is true, but it only takes a little pressure with a pliers (with cloth over the metal) to tighten just enough.
