Vacheron Constantin - First Latin American boutique in São Paulo
In celebration of the event, Vacheron Constantin invited a prestigious selection of guests for an intimate concert conducted by world renowned orchestra director Inma Shara, followed by a dinner at Shopping Cidade Jardim, home of the Vacheron Constantin boutique.
After the ribbon cutting event at the Vacheron Constantin Boutique, guests were escorted to the newly opened venue, Casa Bossa, for a welcome cocktail and the chance to see the boutique's in-house watchmaker at work. On display were exceptional Vacheron Constantin timepieces from the Patrimony, Traditionnelle and Metiers d'Art collections, highlighting the Art & Culture theme of the night.
Among these timepieces was the impressive Traditionnelle Calibre 2253, boasting a high complication caliber with hours, minutes, small seconds at 6 o'clock, tourbillon, equation of time, sunset/sunrise time, perpetual calendar and 14 day power reserve.
Before guests entered the beautifully decorated concert and dinner area, they walked through an Instituto Criar artwork experience, showcasing pictures and quotes from a documentary worked on in collaboration between the school and Vacheron Constantin. The documentary, filmed by Instituto Criar students who traveled to the manufacturer in Geneva in January 2012, was playing as well, showing their vision of the transmission of knowledge between student and teacher, and watchmaker and apprentice.
