TAG Heuer - Monaco Grand Prix
On May 25, Leonardo DiCaprio and Cameron Diaz attended an exclusive TAG Heuer cocktail party onboard the Swiss watchmaker's yacht in Port Hercules. They were joined by Monaco's Sovereign, HSH Prince Albert II and many Formula One legends including Jenson Button, Sergio Perez, Romain Grosjean (drivers of TAG Heuer's longtime partner in Formula One, McLaren Vodafone Mercedes) and Alain Prost.
The next day, the two american actors rooted for Jenson Button and Sergio Perez as TAG Heuer's guests in the McLaren Vodafone Mercedes' pit lane. They watched the race from inside the TAG Heuer VIP Lounge together with other VIP guests, including DJ Bob Sinclar and Swiss singer Bastian Baker. The stars stayed and mingled with the TAG Heuer guests for the entire afternoon.
During the whole week-end, Cameron Diaz wore the new Monaco ACM chronograph. This timepiece is the newest edition in the iconic watch series first launched in 1969, and worn by Steve McQueen's character in the movie Le Mans (1971).
On Leonardo DiCaprio's wrist was his favorite, the high-tech, super-chic and extreme shock-protected TAG Heuer Monaco 24.
"I grew up watching the Grand Prix of Long Beach, which was my first glimpse into the excitement of open wheel racing," "said Cameron Diaz after the event, "and I'm thrilled to be here now, at the most prestigious race on the Formula One circuit as part of the TAG Heuer family.'
"Monaco is the greatest race in the world," said Leonardo DiCaprio. "I've been happy to work with TAG Heuer for several years on environmental and sustainability initiatives, especially with the NRDC and Green Cross International. I'm looking forward to our newest adventures together with Formula E."
