TAG Heuer - The Odyssey welcomed by the Maharaja of Jaipur
The drive from the capital city of Dehli and its numerous crowds to Jaipur, the Pink City which once was the capital of royalty, generated a major anticipation for the Odyssey of Pioneers team.
The TAG Heuer Tesla Roadster arrived at the City's palace, welcomed in true Indian tradition with flowers, rose petals and music, for a very private event hosted by the Maharaja Sawai Bhawani Singh Bahadur himself. Select guests including leading local designers Ashish Soni and wife Misha, Varun Bahl, Rana Gill and her husband Jason, Bollywood actress and former Miss India Neha Dhupia and Formula One Driver and TAG Heuer Ambassador Karun Chandhock joined TAG Heuer executives, the Maharaja and his family around a lavish dinner to celebrate TAG Heuer's 150th anniversary and the stop of the unique 100% electric car in Jaipur.
The eclectic guest list also boasted of royalty such as Princess Diya Kumari and her son Kumar Padmanabh Singh. Kawar Pradeep Singh and Angelique with daughters Shambhavi and Shivangani, Kawar Ransher Singh and Harsha Kumari and Mr. and Mrs. Anil Varman were amongst those present.
At this occasion, Jean-Christophe Babin introduced to the guests the TAG Heuer's Meridiist GMT, the communication instrument specifically developed to accompany the meridian-crossing global adventure of TAG Heuer's and Tesla Motors as well as TAG Heuer' V4, Carrera Calibre 1887 and concept watch Pendulum.
On its way back, the TAG Heuer Tesla Roadster was exceptionally authorized to enter the Amber Fort, overlooking the Maota Lake, a unique piece of architecture blending both Hindu and Muslim style elements. The elephants surrounding the fort were almost surprised by this noise-free car !
