just got it, love it. i also have a very chubby wristand was holding my breath until i could find out if it would fit me & yeah it does. these days a size8 can be challenging if it buckles, but lo & behold, it does open to a little more than 8"comfortably - i wish the black was still availablebut i am thrilled with the red!
