I have never used a heart rate monitor before and honestly have not had the chance to use this Rolex Oyster Perpetual Date Black Diamond Dial 18kt Fluted White Gold Bezel 34 MM Men's 115234BKDO as anything other than a watch. It is rather bulky and feels heavy on my wrist, but I am not sure if that is typical of all HR watches. Also, the chrono doesn't seem to have the ability to record splits (a useful feature that I really miss).
