The Speedmaster Professional Missions Apollo XIV is part of the 1997 Speedmaster Missions set, with the mission patch at 9:00 commemorating the third moon landing, a mission accomplished from January 31 to February 9, 1971 by Alan B. Shepard, Stuart A. Roosa, and Edgar D. Mitchell.

A total of 50 pieces of the Missions suitcase with all Missions models and a '57 replica were created.
An additional 150 watches were available for purchase separately.

The face on this Omega Speedmaster Professional Missions Apollo 14 (3597.17.00) watch is very unique and very pretty. I gave this as a gift to my niece, 18, and she loved it! She has no issues with the watch portion of it as she has excellent eye sight. I could not really see it too well but then again it wasn't for me. If you have great vision then this watch is for you.

I got this little guy for a birthday present, as I collect unique designed watches. This is probably one of my favorites, now, as he is so adorable! The bracelet is made very well, although I have not worn it for very long, it appears sturdy and wears comfortably on my wrist. This is definitely a keeper!
