I had to get a bunch of links removed, but I like this Longines Master Collection Power Reserve (L2.708.4.78.3) watch just fine so far (bought 12/12/08). [...] The metal part that joins with the band (at the top of and bottom of the face) is slightly thick though--it could be thinner/daintier. Photo on website doesn't clearly highlight the white mother-of-pearl face.

A good looking, heavy, solid watch. I was worried that it might be to colorfull, but no, just right. Mine came with instructions for a different watch, a quartz chronograph. I went to the Stuhrling web site and downloaded instruction manual L , a fast and simple solution.
