I wanted a watch with a regular dial versus digital. I wanted a leather strap. I wanted a watch without a battery and one that was easy to set. I did not want an athletic watch or one that was of a style for techno geeks or techno athletes. This is a modern Breitling watch but has the look of the old fashioned wind-up watches and the solar battery.
