Baume & Mercier - Linea in spring and summer's shades
Following the success of the first edition launched in 2012, Baume & Mercier is offering a series of three 27 mm Linea quartz-movement watches featuring interchangeable straps in very soft, braided lambskin. These models were designed in collaboration with the Canadian actress Emmanuelle Chriqui and will be available from April 2013.
These interchangeable bracelets have broadened the creative horizons of this collection: now every Linea owner is free to reinvent herself as many times as she pleases.
To keep up with this season's most sought after colours; we joined forces with the Canadian actress Emmanuelle Chriqui to create an assortment of three models featuring braided lambskin straps in the 2013 Spring-Summer colours. We wanted to find just the right formula to bring a "fashion forward" dimension to these simple, delicate watches, allowing women to synchronize their style with their mood at whimsy.
The actress, particularly known for the series Entourage and The Mentalist, appreciates "the simple things in life". She is a perfect embodiment of the natural elegance and refreshing spirit of "seaside living" that the Linea collection represents.
Both unique and manifold, the Linea watch, available in a perfectly-proportioned 27 mm diameter with a quartz-movement, is worn on an orange hand-braided lambskin strap. This shade was chosen as part of the trendbook for the 2013 Spring-Summer season. It promises to delight women and bring a new dimension to this subtle, feminine jewellery watch. This timepiece in polished, satin-finished stainless steel, featuring a mother-of-pearl dial with touches of sky blue, is extremely versatile, as shown by its interchangeable straps.
