I purchased the watch for my 8 year old. She absolutely loves it. It's just the right size for her wrist - not too big. The watch itself is really pretty and has enough bling for an 8 year old, but not too much. It's appropriate for her age.

this is a nice A. Lange & Sohne Lange 1 Soirée Platinum (110.041F) watch very fancy, not really an everyday watch, band too big for my 7 1/2 wrist, however i think you can take out a few links. i am not sure if this watch will stay looking nice for too long, seams like the material could lose its luster. great deal and nice gift.
