Hamilton watches and Los Angeles Confidential magazine hosted the 8th annual Hamilton Behind the Camera Awards on November 9th at The Ebell of Los Angeles. The awards ceremony paid tribute to the behind-the-scenes talents whose individual work contributes to the quality of a motion picture and to the lasting impression that it has on movie audiences.
Hamilton celebrates watch appearances in more than 400 films, most recently Interstellar.
Sylvain Dolla, CEO of Hamilton International Ltd. remarked, "Watchmaking and filmmaking are similar in that we both share a passion for creating something uniquely beautiful that inspires and touches our audience."

Golden Globe and Emmy nominated actor Matthew Morrison emceed this year's awards ceremony and was joined by an assembly of A-list actors, actresses and award-winning filmmakers to present these awards.

The honorees were selected from movies released during the year and/or qualified and presented at the most recent prestigious movie festivals of Cannes, Toronto and Venice as well as at the Festival of the American Film Institute.

The star of martial arts comedies, Jackie Chan, found himself instantly drawn to Felix Baumgartner's muscular creations at a private presentation in Paris (photo) and quite naturally asked to wear them on-screen. Launched in China although not yet in Europe, Chinese Zodiac shows three very unexpected UR-202s worn by Jackie Chan and his team. This is a great piece of exposure for Urwerk, and all the more so because the hilarious actor even manages to take photographs with his timepiece !
Hamilton & Bruce Willis
You don't change a winning team. In the Die Hard saga, Bruce Willis once again wears a Hamilton but has picked a new model. After Die Hard, Back to Hell, the toughest guy of successful action films shows up in Die Hard, a Beautiful Day to Die with a Hamilton Jazzmaster Viewmatic on his wrist (a classic style that is surprising for Bruce Willis who may have a double personality?)
