Audemars Piguet - Art Basel Miami
A-list Asia actress Maggie Cheung, fashion designer Nicole Richie and professional tennis player Serena Williams visited the Audemars Piguet booth at the Collectors' Lounge at Art Basel in Miami Beach.
Maggie, Nicole and Serena each enjoyed a special tour of Audemars Piguet's dedicated space in the Collectors' Lounge at Art Basel in Miami Beach by Francois-Henry Bennahmias CEO of Audemars Piguet, Xavier Nolot CEO of Audemars Piguet North America and Tim Sayler, Chief Marketing Officer of Audemars Piguet. The presentation features a selection of exceptional historic and contemporary timepieces from the brand's 138-year history, including highlights from the 2012 touring exhibition, "From Avant-garde to Icon," which celebrated the 40th anniversary of Audemars Piguet's stainless steel Royal Oak model. As global Associate Partner of Art Basel, Swiss luxury watch manufacturer Audemars Piguet is celebrating its first presence at Art Basel in Miami Beach.

Audemars Piguet - Novak Djokovic: third consecutive grand slam
In the early hours of Monday January 30th, Novak Djokovic won the Australian Open against Rafael Nadal in the longest Grand Slam singles final ever.
After an epic match that lasted five sets (5-7/6-4/6-2/6-7/7-5) and nearly 6 hours, Nole could finally lift the trophy. He overcame a break in the last set to win his fifth Grand Slam tournament and third in a row. Both players pushed themselves to the very limits of human exhaustion. This showdown offered suspense and excitement to the 15,000 spectators in the stands and millions of TV viewers.
After a few hours' sleep, Nole declared: "Under the circumstances, it was definitely the greatest match I've ever played".
With this victory he has consolidated his position as world number one and has started his season as well as in 2011. All eyes will now turn to Roland Garros where, as the title-holder of Wimbledon, the US Open and the Australian Open, Nole could become the first tennis player to win four Grand Slams on four different surfaces in a row.

She succeeds Antonio Seward, who was named chief executive officer of Audemars Piguet Spain, "For quite some time, I have recognized Jasmine's considerable talent and contribution to the company," said Francois-Henry Bennahmias, president and CEO of Audemars Piguet, The Americas, in making the announcement. "When time came to fill the position of V.P. of Latin America, she was a natural choice." Her expertise "will further Audemars Piguet's brand share" in those markets, he said.
In her new position, Ms. Bapic will be based in the brand's Latin American office in Miami, Florida, USA, and oversee its sales and marketing efforts in South America, Mexico, and the Caribbean. She will report directly to Bennahmias. .
Jasmine Bapic was manager of the Audemars Piguet Boutique in Bal Harbour, Florida, since October 2008. Before that, she was its USA East Coast sales representative, where she was "an integral part of the high revenue growth achievements" there, notes a company statement, and "helped create many organizational standards currently used daily within the company."
Earlier, she was Director of Marketing Worldwide for TechnoMarine, and held posts with Parmigiani Fleurier and Montres Corum SA.
Ms. Bapic comes from a family of watchmakers: her father is a second-generation watchmaker and her mother's family manufactured watch cases.
Founded in 1875 in the Swiss village of Le Brassus, Audemars Piguet is the oldest manufacturer of Haute Horlogerie still in the hands of its founding families. It opened its new flagship boutique on 57th Street in New York City in September 2009.
