Jaeger-LeCoultre - Julius Baer Argentina Snow Cup
It is the first snow polo cup to be played for the World Polo Tour Ranking in South America.
In the day´s first match, Jaeger-Le Coultre Polo Team, with Adolfo Cambiaso, beat Mastercard 2-0, with goals by Ernesto Gutierrez and Fernando Pigni. The winning team show a good level of playing and more control of the ball. In the next match, Clear met and beat Julius Baer 3-1 in the field located on the base of Cerro Chapelco Ski Resort.
Jaeger-LeCoultre´s Fernando Pigni was named Jaege-LeCoultre MVP of the opening day of the tournament.
On Sunday August 16th, Clear Polo Team was crowned Champion leaving the Jaeger Le Coultre Polo Team in an acclaimed second place; the result: 2 - 1. The goals for achieving the first place where made by Matias Garrahan and Tomas Gandara; Ernesto Gutierrez made the goal in the Jaeger Le Coultre Polo Team. The key in winning this match, for the Clear Polo Team, was a tireless effort; never giving a second thought , always on top of the Jaeger Le Coultre players.
Before this match, MasterdCard Polo Team beated the Julius Baer Polo Team by 4 - 2, and won the Jaeger Le Coultre Cup.
The tournment was held in the base of the Chapelco Ski Resort, and the horse Pan Triste was named Best Playing Pony - Julius Baer of the final.
For being named Best Amateur Player, Juan Cruz Adrogue received a Jaeger-LeCoultre REVERSO watch.
