The festival rooms of the Hotel Bayerischer Hof offered the stage to the best watch manufacturers for the sixth consecutive year.

With several exhibitors celebrating important milestones (A. Lange & Söhne commemorated its 20-year-jubilee, Bulgari looked back on 130 years of history and both Greubel Forsey and Austrian watch manufacturer Habring² both celebrated their tenth anniversary), there was a definite upbeat mood to the show.

Other stars at the show included celebrities such as entertainer Thomas Gottschalk and national football coach Jogi Löw, as well as legendary watchmakers like Walter Lange and Chronoswiss founder Gerd Rudiger Lang. A number of well-known representatives of the watch aking industry visited either during opening night or later during the exhibition weekend, among them Sylvere Demonsais (CEO Laurent Ferrier), Italo Fontana (founder and co-proprietor U-Boat Watch), Stephen Forsey (co-proprietor Greubel Forsey), Oliver Ebstein (CEO and proprietor Chronoswiss) and Roland Schwertner (founder and co-proprietor Nomos Glashutte).
