The notable 21 Club in midtown Manhattan set the scene for several hundred power players including Mayor Michael Bloomberg (who dropped from the number 4 spot in 2009 to number 9). Other attendees included list number 1 Stephen Ross of the Related Companies and owner of the Miami Dolphins, State Assembly Speaker Sheldon Silver, David Levinson of L&L Holding (and the Yankees), and legal legend Jonathan Mechanic of Fried Frank.

This event comes on the heels of several important and exclusive retailer-related events the brand has hosted stateside in the past couple of months, including one recent evening in conjunction with Wempe Jewelers for private watch collectors. That dinner was held at New York City's Le Bernardin, where world-renowned chef Eric Ripert's French cuisine delighted guests almost as much as the exhibition entitled "A Journey Through Time." Presented by de Pins and Ruediger Albers, president of Wempe Jewelers, the exhibition was an historic look at the brand and included timepieces from Geneva's museum as well as the recently launched Ultra-Fine 1955 series.
