I waited and waited until eventually this watch was released in August 2001. Looks new even a year later. However I still have not read the instructions. (2 presses of this long press of that, it is not user friendly at all. )

I'm reviewing this after 2+ years of use. This is an elegant watch, very durable (and I've put it through a lot) and the 'Eco-Drive' line is just great. The glass is so scratch resistant, that I still can't believe how great it looks after everyday use.
