Graham - Tourbillograph Trackmaster Chromium
The Trackmaster line of the pioneering automatic column-wheel Chronograph- Tourbillon has been imagined to pay tribute to the brands' passion for dynamism, performance and boldness.
This exceptional timepiece features a very unique and innovative Tourbillon specifically engineered for a "sports" chronograph function-watch assembled on a "tyre effect" strap.
The Tourbillograph Trackmaster Chromium has been developed in the vein of Graham- London's "high adrenaline" timepieces leading to the creation of a new concept of Tourbillon, a new technology, a new manufacturing process and two new patents. As explorers into virgin territory of mechanical art and craftmanship, it took us four years of unremitting endeavours to develop such a masterpiece.
Powered by a black PVD coated column-wheel chronograph movement featuring a visible R.A.C or "roue a colonne" - greatly enhancing precise operation, this particular time instrument features a unique see-through case construction which allows a fascinating look at the refined mechanism of the "one minute" Tourbillon.
The off-centre construction of the Tourbillon has the advantage of being lighter and therefore more reliable with a better resistance to shocks. The cage weighs in at only 0.485 grams and consists of 48 pieces. The Tourbillon's high precision and durability is reinforced by the unique "Coq" and upper bridge construction which are shaped in the tradition of English high precision timepieces of the 18th century.
The high frequency of the balance wheel of 28'800 alternations per hour allows better adjustment and guarantees more precise timekeeping than Tourbillons operating at a lower frequency.
In addition, the construction employing a black PVD-coated bridge on each side, one on the front and one on the back, follows Breguet's classical principles of craftsmanship and is much more reliable than a "Tourbillon Volant" with only one bearing. The reinforced Incabloc® shock absorbing system which protects the spiral, the balance, the escapement wheel and the anchor, guarantees excellent shock resistance which is vital for a "sports" Tourbillon with Chronograph function.
Made for sports' and watch-making aficionados, the Tourbillograph Trackmaster Chromium features exclusive material and decorations such as a "Clous de Paris" pattern on the case, black or silver galvanic dials, a large openwork-rotor made of black Chromium and a sterling silver oscillating weight and an integrated rubber strap which together create a dynamic effect and a perfect symbiosis of technology and design.
