Cartier - Reopening in St. Moritz
Present since 1975 in the prestigious St. Moritz holiday resort, the Cartier Boutique is once again opening its doors for the summer season after several months of a spectacular restoration. Nestled inside the legendary Badrutt's Palace Hotel, built in 1872 and a listed historical monument, the Cartier Boutique is a must-see venue within this haven of elegance.
Since July 31st, customers of the Maison will be able to discover an entirely remodelled 170 square-metre area that is twice as large as previously, while its interior design has been entrusted to Parisian specialist Bruno Moinard.
Through a sophisticated stage-setting dedicated to the art of living and hospitality, the famous architect gives life to all that is precious, rare and elegant, demonstrating a love of detail and a respect for know-how that echoes the creations displayed in the showcases.
A plush, intimate atmosphere
Playing on the contrast between the spectacular transparent façade and the softly lighted interior, this new Cartier jewel-case focuses on creating a welcoming atmosphere amid private alcoves, a warm and cosy library area and themed lounges. In one of the latter, connoisseurs will be able to admire the new haute horlogerie collections within a resolutely masculine setting, clothed in shades of chocolate brown, that is entirely propitious to discovering these exceptional finely crafted watches with sophisticated proprietary movements. A little further along, an area devoted to haute joaillerie sparkles with brilliant fire, and then comes another focusing on accessories and fragrances. Within these exquisitely refined premises, highlighting the noblest materials, the serenity of discreet luxury interprets the very essence of the Maison Cartier.
The Cartier St. Moriz Boutique will be officially inaugurated on August 28th 2010.
