I also thought that the entire band flipped, but now I understand that only the crystals are reversible. The back of the watch looks as good as the front. I think that's what confused me. It is really a beautful work of art and worth every penny. I love, love LOVE this watch. And as the other reviwer said, it is much more beautiful in person.
