Amidst all the noise from this year's Geneva Watchmaking Grand Prix (GPHG), you may have missed the start of a new month and, therefore, a new competition on WorldTempus. Up for grabs in November is an Eterna Vaughan Big Date model worth 4,900 Swiss francs.

Our editor-in-chief is just back from a weekend in London attending SalonQP, which showcased the best of both Swiss and British watchmaking, as well as offering the first chance to see all the winners from the GPHG. You can read his report from the show online this week. WorldTempus is also a media partner of the "Passion for Watches" exhibition which will be held in Brussels from 14-16 November.

Among numerous Patek Philippe models going under the hammer at Sotheby's tomorrow will be the famous and unique Henry Graves Supercomplication. The Sotheby's sale, which pays tribute to the 175th anniversary of Patek Philippe, follows on from the Antiquorum sale last weekend, which took place over two days.
